A few lines on the Morning - a poem

Moonshine, starlight, morning dew
Green grass, grey sky, winter hues
Moist earth, fogs and spiraling mists
Shades of nature if you get the gist

Little birds hidden amongst the branches of trees
Shivering and twittering, you will see
The flowers all dropping in their beds
Waiting for the sun's warming fest

And lo and behold, the day has begun
It crept up silently like a thief with a gun
From the dull greys if has glowed to pink
Overflowing with the beauty of dawn's brink...
